Just over a half mile KY 1490 in Marshall County will be blocked for around two weeks beginning August 12 as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet replaces a pair of deteriorating culverts.
According to a news release, the blockage will be between J.B. Copeland Road and Weatherwood Road. KYTC has identified a pair of 72-inch culverts that have begun to deteriorate and are starting to cause an uneven roadway.
Crews plan to have repairs to both culverts completed and the roadway reopened by Monday, August 26.
