An Oak Grove man was arrested in Pembroke Thursday, following a traffic stop that allegedly revealed a significant amount of illegal narcotics.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on South Main Street in Pembroke on a vehicle operated by 27-year-p;d Daviontae Gulledge of Oak Grove for failure to wear a seat belt. A Hopkinsville K-9 unit reportedly alerted on the vehicle, which led to a search.
That search allegedly revealed a backpack containing suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, Fentanyl and marijuana, along with several items of drug paraphernalia consistent with trafficking. Detectives obtained a search warrant and conducted a search at Gulledge’s residence on Mandarin Drive in Oak Grove, which reportedly found additional drugs, along with a handgun and cash.
Gulledge was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in fentanyl, using restricted ammunition during a felony, trafficking marijuana over five pounds, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to wear a seat belt.
