In an effort to improve motorist safety, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be blocking part of KY 813 in White Plains on Saturday for a widening project.
According to a news release, it will take place from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to all for work on the highway widening project. KY 813 will be blocked from the two-mile point at intersection of South Bob Bruce Drive and East Church Street, to the intersection of Mount Carmel Road and Mount Carmel Pond River Road.
This closure will include all of East Church Street and just over a mile of Mount Carmel Road. Motorists in the area should use appropriate caution in the work zone and might consider finding an alternate route on Saturday
