The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a homicide following a fatal shooting at Lyrics Lounge on Fort Campbell Boulevard Sunday night.
According to a news release, police responded to reports of a shooting at the Lyrics Lounge around 11:15 p.m. Officers arrived with minutes and were told by witnesses that the individuals involved had left the scene, heading north from the 1300 block of the Boulevard.
A short time later, two males arrived at Tennova Healthcare Emergency Room with gunshot wounds—they were flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment. One of the victims was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The second victim’s status is currently unknown and the names of those involved have not yet been released.
