Russellville man arrested on drug charges from Todd, Hopkins counties

A Russellville man was taken into custody by the Todd County Sheriff’s Thursday following an investigation by the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force.

According to a news release, Deputy Derek Baumann with the sheriff’s office and detectives with the Task Force located 40-year-old Thomas Morgan of Russellville at a residence off of Gibson Hightower Road in Todd County, who was wanted in multiple counties, including Todd and Hopkins. 

Out of Todd County he is facing charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, fleeing or evading police, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is additionally charged with fleeing or evading police, trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in a controlled substance, illegal possession of a legend drug, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and multiple traffic violations. 

In Hopkins County, he’s charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
