The Hopkins County-Madisonville Fair is rolling back into town from August 2 to August 10 and will include carnival rides, pageants, live music, FFA and 4-H exhibits and the Bullwhip Rodeo.
The rodeo is set for August 5 and 6 and will feature a variety of events such as bull riding, trick riding, barrel racing and roping competitions. Ray Cartwright, the vice president of the Hopkins County-Madisonville Fair Board is excited for the rodeo and says it provides an opportunity for families and friends to come together and enjoy a memorable experience.
On both days the rodeo is set for 7 p.m. at the arena. Other arena events such as demolition derby and a tractor pull will also be hosted at the fair. More information about what this year’s fair is set to include is available at hopkinscountymadisonvillefair.com.
