A two-vehicle wreck at the intersection East 7th and Liberty Streets resulted in possible injuries on Friday.
According to a report from Hopkinsville Police, Tara Randolph of Elkton was driving west on East 7th Street approaching the Liberty Street intersection. Randolph reportedly told first responders that she thought the intersection was a four-way stop when it is actually a two-way stop with stop signs on East 7th Street.
After stopping, Randolph reportedly proceeded through the intersection before realizing it is a two-way stop and attempting to stop. However, she was too late and collided with a car operated by Deven Harris of Hopkinsville that was heading southbound on Liberty Street.
Harris was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries.
