One injured in vehicle vs. home crash in Madisonville

The Madisonville Police Department is investigating after a vehicle collided with a home Saturday just past the intersection of Hospital Drive.

According to a news release, a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Debra Williams of Madisonville was heading south on North Main Street when she lost control of the vehicle and dropped off the roadway. The vehicle went down an embankment just before the bridge before collding with the rear porch of a residence on Hanson Street. 

No one inside the home was injured. Williams was transported to Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital for treatment of injuries to the head and shoulder.
