Hopkinsville Police arrested 21-year-old Alejandro Daniel of Hopkinsville for reportedly stalking an individual on Monday.
According to a police report, officers were dispatched to a prowler call at a Hopkinsville residence. The victim shared that Daniel had reportedly knocked on their door, called them multiple times from different phone numbers and previously followed them around town.
In 2023, the victim says they were also the victim of a second-degree wanton endangerment case involving Daniel.
At the scene, officers could not locate Daniel, but did find his car on a street near the victim’s residence. Daniel was later found hiding behind a residence on the same street where his car was found.
A search of Daniel’s person reportedly yielded a loaded gun magazine and marijuana and a search of his car yielded a handgun.
Daniel was charged with first-degree stalking, possession of marijuana and possession of restricted ammunition during a felony.
