Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority continues the tradition of excellence, that their Moss Water Treatment Plant was once again awarded an Area-Wide Optimization Program certificate.
According to HWEA, the certificate is a multi-state initiative which encourages drinking water systems to voluntarily achieve optimization goals above and beyond EPA regulatory requirements—and HWEA has earned this for seven years in a row.
In total, HWEA has nine of these prestigious awards.
They go on to thank their water plant team for their hard work and dedication to consistently providing clean, safe and outstanding drinking water to the community.
