Sheriff’s Office asks for public’s help locating shooting suspect

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating, Delrico McKissick, a suspect from a shooting incident that occurred on July 4.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, on July 4 the ECC received a call from Jennie Stuart Medical Center about an individual that came to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his back. The victim ended up being transported by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for the treatment of his injuries.

Investigators found that, the victim was injured when four individuals opened fire at a house on Plum Street in Ashwood Village. Three individuals reportedly involved in the shooting have been arrested and now deputies are seeking McKissick.

McKissick is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree complicity to criminal mischief, complicity to wanton endangerment and first-degree complicity to assault.
