Kentucky State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Muhlenberg County that killed a Bremen man Tuesday afternoon.
According to a news release, it happened just before 3 p.m. on Kentucky Highway 70 West near Central City when a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Quinton Basham of Bremen was heading east when for an unknown reason, a vehicle operated by 67-year-old Tammy Harris of Central City entered the eastbound lanes while heading west.
The two vehicles collided head-on and Basham was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroner.
Harris was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville for treatment of injuries.
