Motorcyclist flown to Skyline following Madisonville Road collision

A motorcyclist was flown to a Nashville hospital on Saturday following a two-vehicle wreck on Madisonville Road. 

According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Shelia Bussell of Crofton was heading north on Madisonville Road around 9:45 a.m. when she attempted to make a left turn.  She reportedly pulled into the path of a southbound motorcycle operated by 52-year-old Michael Roberts of Calhoun and the two collided. 

Roberts was taken by helicopter to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of injuries—Bussell was not injured in the collision.
