Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 109 in Hopkins County to allow for debris removal.
KYTC crews will block a section of KY 109 stretching between Olney Road and Daylight Road from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday to allow for the safe removal of debris left from the May 26 tornado.
Motorists are asked to pay attention to traffic control signage and watch for workers near work zones. There will be no marked detours.
