Come celebrate our nation’s independence at “Elkton’s July 3rd on the Square” in
downtown Elkton, Kentucky on Wednesday, July 3rd. The celebration will once
again feature a spectacular fireworks show sponsored by B.R. Knuckles Insurance
of Elkton.
This year’s event will kick off with the annual Todd County Chamber of
Commerce “Kids Bike Parade,” with line up starting at 5 pm at the Elkton Baptist
Church parking lot, and bike parade starting at 5:30 pm. Food trucks, shopping
vendors, and free children’s area sponsored by Elkton Baptist Church will be
open from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. L & R Soda Bar and the Todd County Foundation are
sponsoring live music with performance by American Idol contestant, Lydia
Simonds, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. The fireworks display will begin soon after dark,
around 9:00 pm.
So, bring a chair or blanket and come to downtown Elkton to enjoy hometown
