Motorists traveling the Western Kentucky Parkway in Hopkins County can expect Exit 38C to remain closed for a little while longer due to weather.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, that exit was closed on Tuesday for milling and paving operations and was scheduled to reopen this morning. Unfortunately, rainfall through the night brought paving to a halt, forcing a delay in the ramp’s reopening.
The plan is to finish the paving work Wednesday and then have the exit back open Thursday morning—work will then move to Exit 34B from the Pennyrile Parkway onto the Western Kentucky Parkway. That closure is expected to last until Friday morning.
