Wednesday is Military and First Responders Day at the Western Kentucky State Fair, and there will be more 4-H and FFA shows and Mini Outlaw Tractor Pulls will take over the grandstands.
The gates open at 4 p.m. and there will be free admission for active-duty military, dependents, veterans and first responders with ID, and they can also get $10 unlimited ride armbands until close. For everyone else, it’s a $25 armband night—the petting zoo gets back underway in the livestock pavilion at 5 p.m. and the 4-H/FFA Sheep Show starts at 6 p.m.
The Mini Outlaw Pulls get underway at the grandstands at 7 p.m. and Fair Board Chair Brad Hewell says while the tractors may be smaller, they’re no less powerful.
Pedal Pull Competitions for kids will happen in front of the air-conditioned convention center starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday morning also brings the 4-H Cloverville/FFA Exhibits and Home and Garden Exhibits.
