After raising over $100,000 for families in need last year, the Brice Long and Friends Back-2-Back Benefit Concert is rolling back into Hopkinsville with country band McBride & the Ride on July 20.
Country music singer and songwriter, Brice Long shared this year marks his 19th annual benefit concert and they will be celebrating 20 years of the Back-2-Back foundation benefiting local families. Long says he plans to perform some of his newer songs and well-known hits before McBride & the Ride take to the stage.
Long said 20 years ago, the foundation was able to help five families in need celebrate Christmas and last year the foundation helped over 120 families and some local nonprofits. Long says he is blessed that the foundation has grown so much thanks to the community and is looking forward having another successful year of benefiting families in Christian, Todd and Trigg Counties.
Long says the concert will be an enjoyable evening of country music and hopes to have a full house in attendance.
The benefit concert is set for July 20 at 7 p.m. at the Alhambra Theater. Tickets are $25 and on sale at pennyroyalarts.org.
