The Hopkinsville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in gathering information concerning the shooting death of Tony Burse from February of 2023.
As previously reported, a call of shots fired went out just after 11 p.m. on February 8 and an adult male victim was soon located on Breathitt Street. Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel says 42-year old Tony Burse of McHenry Street sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hopkinsville Police Department incident report says five shell casings and two bullet fragments were recovered in the area of the shooting.
The Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward to any person providing information that leads to an arrest in the case.
