The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash from Madisonville Road Thursday that sent a Hopkinsville man to the hospital.
According to the collision report, 38-year-old Lucas Wolf of Hopkinsville was heading north on Madisonville Road, when he missed his turn and made an abrupt stop to attempt to turn around in a nearby entrance to a farm.
That’s when he was struck from behind by a vehicle hauling multiple wooden posts, operated by 23-year-old Alex Larkins of White Plains. The collision caused Wolf’s vehicle to overturn, coming to a stop in a nearby ditch.
Wolf was transported for Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries to his back. Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
