The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 402 between Hardin and Aurora in Marshall County on Tuesday to allow for inspection of the Clarks River Bridge.
According to a news release, KY 402 will be closed at almost mile point 10 to allow an inspection of the Clarks River Bridge, and due to limited space on the bridge deck, the roadway will be closed to allow the inspection team to complete their work in one day.
The roadway is expected to close promptly at 8 a.m., Tuesday and then is expected to reopen around 4 p.m. Motorists should be watching for portable message boards alerting them of the closure.
This inspection of the Clarks River Bridge is scheduled on a weather-permitting basis.
