A Hopkinsville native has been named as the new Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Trigg County Public Schools.
According to a news release, Lacey Schrock brings a robust background in curriculum, instruction and assessment, having started her career as a teacher in Christian County, followed by positions at Trigg County and Lyon County High Schools. A graduate of Christian County Hich School, Schrock went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Secondary Education, followed by a Master’s Degree in Wildlife Biology. She obtained a Master’s in Administration and Supervisor of Instruction from Murray State University.
She has served as the Supervisor of Instruction, District Assessment Coordinator, and Title 1 Director at Crittenden County and as Assistant Director of Secondary Instruction in Warren County.
