The Dyslexia Association of the Pennyrile is gearing up for the annual Trivia Night fundraiser and they are still accepting registrations for teams to participate.
The event takes place Friday, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the questions beginning at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Executive Director Vicky Jones spoke with WHOP recently and says there are prizes given out throughout the night, and the winning team claims the $1,000 cash prize—tickets are $35 per person and includes dinner.
Teams can have up to ten players each and there are eight rounds of eight questions.
All proceeds raised go to benefit the Dyslexia Association and the individuals they serve, which includes screenings, a tutoring program and scholarships to attend the program.
The event is held at the War Memorial Building in Hopkinsville. Tickets and corporate sponsorships can be purchased by contacting the Dyslexia Association of the Pennyrile at 270-885-5804.
