The Allegre Volunteer Fire Department is celebrating after they raised over $15,000 this past weekend during their annual BBQ fundraiser.
That’s according to James Dossett with the board of directors, who says the fundraiser—which included an auction, cornhole games, live music, a cake walk and of course, a BBQ supper—raised $15,555.
This was the 42nd annual BBQ fundraiser, with money raised set to benefit the volunteer fire department with various needs and upkeep. Attendees were also able to take a tour of their new building.
