A Hopkinsville woman was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment following a roll-over crash on the Pennyrile Parkway Saturday.
According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle operated by 36-year-old Maria Silva of Hopkinsville was heading south on the Parkway when she seems to have struck some loose gravel that had been washed out into the roadway by rain.
The gravel mixed with wet conditions, causing the vehicle to lose traction on. Silva’s vehicle entered the median and overturned, come to a stop on its roof.
Silva was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of multiple injuries.
