Hopkinsville man federally sentenced for meth distribution

A Hopkinsville man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison, after he was found guilty for possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky’s Office, 31-year-old Stephen Antwain Taylor of Hopkinsville has been sentenced to five years in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release, on one count of possession with the intent to distribute more than 50 grams of meth. 

There is no parole in the federal system.
