UHA’s Krista Keller signs to cheer at University of Kentucky

On Friday morning, UHA senior Krista Keller was surrounded by friends and family as she signed her letter of intent to be a member of the University of Kentucky cheerleading team.

As far as getting accepted to the cheer team, the terms are a lot more challenging than one might think.

Krista shared her experience during the process.

For Krista, she explained that how her best friend influenced her to join cheer and that being a UK cheerleader is something that she has dreamed of since her early childhood.

She also says that out of her whole upcoming UK cheer experience, she is most excited about cheering at the football games this fall. Her family, and more specifically her dad, being Wildcat fans are also for the extra special reason to come out to UK games.

Lastly, Keller acknowledged some people that she is thankful for in helping her get to this point in her cheer career.
