No people were injured, but a dog was hurt during a house fire on Moelight Drive Thursday afternoon.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, firefighters responded to the 100 block of Moelight around 3:15 p.m. and arrived to find a home filled with smoke. The fire was quickly brought under control and three dogs were rescued from the home.
One of the canines was in poor health—no injuries to occupants or firefighters was reported.
