Two Cadiz residents charged with trafficking meth

Two Cadiz residents are facing charges after they were allegedly found unconscious in a vehicle at the Circle K on Lafayette Road Wednesday morning.

According to the report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, officers responded to the business to check on the welfare of two individuals slumped inside of a vehicle that was parked at one of the gas pumps.  Upon arrival, contact was made with 23-year-old Jonas Stoltzfus and 18-year-old Kylee Rush, both of Cadiz—Stoltzfus was reportedly slumped over the steering wheel and Rush was asleep in the passenger seat. 

They reportedly told officers they were just tired.  A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed two plastic baggies containing suspected methamphetamine, along with a scale, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. 

They were both arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
