Lane restrictions will begin on I-24 westbound in Christian County Thursday, as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet works to address concrete repairs.
The project—designed to make a smoother drive along I-24 westbound—will require lane restrictions during daytime hours for approximately the next week. The work zone will be between KY 115 and US 41A interchanges from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. from this Thursday through Thursday, May 23.
The right lane will be closed throughout the work zone with flaggers on site.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic controlled by flaggers and some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
