The 14th Annual Haiti Benefit Auction is set to take over the Ag. Event Center behind the Christian County Extension Office this weekend, with a ton of auction events and activities in store.
Everything kicks off Friday evening at 4 p.m. with a catfish supper, complete with all the fixings, and then the auction begins at 5 p.m., featuring items from small crafts to furniture and quilts. From 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. is the Tool Ring Auction and then a singing program wraps everything up around 8 p.m.
Organizer Nate Overholt says things start bright and early Saturday morning at 6:30 a.m. with a full breakfast, before the main auction begins at 8 a.m.
Overholt says all money raised from the auction and donations benefits select and responsible missions in Haiti.
