Guy Johnson, age 36 of Hopkinsville, was arrested after he reportedly assaulted two victims and prohibited them from leaving a residence on Monday.
According to a report from Hopkinsville Police, officers responded to a residence on Elm Street after Johnson assaulted two victims resulting in minor injuries. As one of the victims attempted to call 911, Johnson allegedly smacked the phone out of their hand and would not let them leave the residence.
Johnson was charged with two counts of fourth-degree assault and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Johnson was also charged with a probation violation in relation to an outstanding bench warrant and he was also charged with theft by unlawful taking of an auto vehicle and driving on a DUI suspended license in relation to a complaint warrant.
