Two charged in multi-county pursuit

Two individuals have been arrested and charged following a multi-county vehicle pursuit on Wednesday.

According to Kentucky State Police, the pursuit began in Lyon County around 10:30 a.m. after a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle that reportedly contained suspects in a theft. One occupant fled the vehicle on foot during the traffic stop while the other fled in the vehicle.

A pursuit began on the vehicle that went through Marshall, McCracken and into Trigg County before finally coming to a stop near the Closon Hollow Campground with the Land Between the Lakes. He is charged with multiple counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, possession of burglary tools, receiving stolen property, open alcohol container in a motor vehicle and numerous traffic violations.

The second suspect, Jovan Moss, was later located and charge with second-degree fleeing or evading police and stop-stand-park on limited access highway.
