Kara Armstrong, age 32 of Arkansas, was arrested on Tuesday after the vehicle she was operating was allegedly found to have been stolen.
According to a report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, units were alerted after a flock camera along McLean Avenue picked up on a vehicle with an Arkansas license plate that had been reported as stolen.
Officers located the vehicle on East 9th Street near the intersection of North Main Street and conducted a traffic stop. Armstrong was reportedly operating the vehicle and officers took her into custody.
Armstrong was charged with receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000.
