Marshall County Public Schools has a new Superintendent, and it’s a name that Trigg countians will be familiar with, as Bill Thorpe is set to step into that role on July 1.
Thorpe currently serves as the Superintendent of Trigg County Public Schools—he began his teaching career in 1992 at Livingston Central High School He spent 11 years in the classroom as both regular education and special education teacher at Livingston Central, Reidland High School, Benton Middle School, and Marshall County High School.
Thorpe will replace Dr. Steve Miracle, who has served as superintendent since 2021.
According to a news release, Thorpe calls his selection as the new Superintendent of Marshall County Schools his greatest accomplishment.
