Officers from the Hopkinsville Police Department responded to vehicle collision at the intersection of East 9th and South Campbell Streets that resulted in possible injuries on Tuesday.
According to a report, Shaylia Kenner of Hopkinsville was driving north on South Campbell Street and had the right of way to cross the East 9th Street intersection. As she was crossing the intersection, she was reportedly hit by a vehicle operated by Martin Gustavo of Trenton who was traveling west on East 9th Street.
Gustavo reportedly hit the rear passenger side of Kenner’s vehicle which caused her to spin out. According to the report, Gustavo admitted to running a red light resulting in the collision.
A juvenile passenger traveling with Kenner was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries.
