The budget making process has been taking place for Christian County government, and Judge-Executive Jerry Gilliam will make his budget presentation on May 10.
Speaking with WHOP Monday, Judge Gilliam says he will present his budget recommendation to the public. He says he thinks it’s a solid budget, and this year includes funding for Christian County Ambulance Services.
He says it is his intent to be fiscally responsible as possible and take care of the county’s needs while making sure it’s prepared for the future.
Judge Gilliam says Christian County got a good bit of funding from the state in this year’s budget, and that money will pave the way for road improvement projects across the county.
The budget address will take place at 9 a.m. May 10 on the second-floor of the Christian County Court House, where Christian Fiscal Court meets.
