Focus 21st Century Minority Leadership Program, Inc. hosted their graduation ceremony last Friday, where they handed out awards and celebrated graduates at the Pioneers, Inc.
According to a news release, the 2024 graduates were Shannon Bigbee, Lorrie Brown, Stephanie Brown, Cardonna Culler, Mercedez Fleming, Barnetta Frazier, Karimsa Hopson, Deborah McKnight and Derrick Quarles. Graduates heard from keynote speaker Charles Turner, a 1991 graduate of the charter class of Focus 21st Century Minority Leadership. He spoke on the theme of the graduation, “Leadership Development To Do Good, Making A Difference.”
The Focus Spirit Award was presented to Mercedz Fleming, recognizing her for being motived, inspired, encouraging of others and showing tremendous dedication during the eight-month class.
