Local basketball seniors Derrell Bateman and Antonio Williams set to play in annual Kentucky/Indiana All-Star Game

On Monday, the Kentucky All-Stars announced its lineup for their annual high school basketball games against the Indiana All Stars.

Multiple players from the Western Kentucky area were selected but two from the city of Hopkinsville made the team.

After averaging 23.2 points and 12.5 rebounds per game this season, Christian County senior Derrell Bateman made the list. Earlier this month, Bateman also announced his commitment to Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas.

Hopkinsville High senior Antonio Williams was also picked for the team. This past season Williams averaged 26.1 points and 13.5 rebounds per game. Like Derrell, Antonio also has plans on playing at the next level. Last month he signed to play at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Also from the 2nd Region, Lyon County seniors Travis Perry and Brady Shoulders made the list.
