Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded to a residence on the 1200 block of Lake Morris Road after receiving reports of gunfire. According to a report, at the scene they found that multiple shots were fired in and around the residence.
The victim reportedly told deputies that they heard noises in their house and armed themselves to go investigate. As they were investigating, an unknown assailant reportedly shot at them and they returned fire before the suspect fled from the area.
