The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle wreck on Dawson Springs Road that resulted in injuries on Wednesday, April 10.
According to a collision report, Johnny Foe of Providence was driving northbound on Dawson Springs Road when he attempted to drive around a car that was in front of him. As Foe was in the opposite lane passing the vehicle, a vehicle on Witty Lane reportedly turned onto the southbound lane of Dawson Springs Road in front of Foe’s vehicle.
To avoid a head-on collision, Foe reportedly attempted to get back into the northbound lane, but drove onto the right shoulder and over corrected his vehicle then driving onto the left shoulder of the road.
Foe’s vehicle reportedly went into the grass and overturned around three to five times, before coming to a rest on the driver’s side door after hitting the base of a tree. Foe and his passenger, Larry Jennings of Providence, had to extricated from vehicle.
Foe was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville and Jennings was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for his injuries.
