This weekend sees the return of the Garden and Outdoor Living Expo, hosted by the Masters Gardener’s Association and the Christian County Cooperative Extension Service.
It all kicks off Friday at the Christian County Extension Arena located at 2850 Pembroke Road, with Kelly Jackson with the Master Gardener’s saying there will be a ton of plants, from flowers to vegetables to trees, available for purchase, along with a lot of educational content and exhibits.
He says there will be services on site—such as tool and equipment sharpening—along with a silent auction and other events.
The event is free to attend and Jackson says they’ll have giveaways and fun activities for kids, including a petting zoo.
The doors open at 4 p.m. Friday and the party goes until 9 p.m. before reopening Saturday morning at 9 a.m., with Expo running until 3 p.m.
