Investigation by the Kentucky State Police has resulted in the indictment of an Allen County Detention Center inmate for murder.
According to a news release, the charge stems from an incident in January 17 of this year were 35-year-old Robert Tomes allegedly assaulted 40-year-old Levi Parrish while they were both inmates at the Allen County Detention Center.
Parrish would pass away later that month at the Bowling Green Medical Center. Then in March, the investigation was brought before the Allen County Grand Jury.
They returned an indictment for murder and persistent felony offender against Tomes.
