(Lexington, KY) — John Calipari will not return as coach for the University of Kentucky men’s basketball team next season. He made the announcement in a video posted to social media Tuesday. Calipari became the coach for the Wildcats in 2009. He said after 15 years the program and fans need to hear another voice. During his tenure he led the school to a national title in 2012 and four Final Four appearances. Calipari said he and his family are currently discussing opportunities that have been presented to them for his next move.
