Two charged in connection with burglary

Hopkinsville police have charged a man in connection with a burglary at Burger King Wednesday morning.

According to the police report, investigation began after a broken window was discovered at the business and money was found to be stolen. Investigation led to the arrest of 34-year-old Dedrick Soles of Hopkinsville, who was allegedly caught on video throwing a rock through a window and entering the location, before accessing the safe using a code and taking around $1,500.

Soles reportedly had been terminated from his employment there on Monday.
