Tractor-trailer overturns resulting in possible injuries

A Crofton man was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries after the tractor-trailer he was driving overturned in Hopkinsville on Monday.

According to a report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, Jerry Pepper of Crofton was driving northbound on exit six of the Pennyrile Parkway and as he turned west onto Eagle Way Bypass the unsecured load in his box trailer reportedly shifted.

The load shift caused the tractor-trailer to overturn onto its passenger side in a nearby grassy area where its load ripped through the roof of the trailer. The tractor-trailer was able to be turned upright and towed from the scene.
