None injured in Trenton vehicle fire

The Trenton Fire Department was able to extinguish a vehicle fire Easter morning in the area of the city limits of Trenton on Highway 41.

The call came out about 7:20 a.m. Sunday morning for a vehicle fire and upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire in the cab and engine areas of the truck. Citizens had rolled the vehicle from the roadway and into a field—there were also able to salvage some of the owner’s belongings.

The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported.

The Trenton Volunteer Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Guthrie Fire Department, Trenton Police Department, Todd County Rescue Squad and the Todd County Sheriff’s Office.
