Hopkinsville woman wins $90,000 from lottery scratch off

A Hopkinsville woman is the winner of $90,000 after purchasing a Kentucky Lottery scratch-off ticket.

According to a news release from the Kentucky Lottery, Reshawn Toliver was at Skyline Fuel in Hopkinsville earlier this month when she bought five $5 Scratch-off tickets.

Toliver says she was at home when she scratched her tickets and the last ticket revealed three “7” symbols. She said she figured it was going to be another $5 win, but Toliver had actually won the game’s $90,000 top prize.

Toliver said she screamed with excitement after realizing she won. She later drove to the lottery headquarters on March 4 where she received a check for $64,800 and Skyline Fuel received $900 for selling the winning ticket.

Toliver said she had been wanting to quit her job and find something else and winning the Lottery allowed her to do that.
