A Trenton woman was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center on Saturday after she was driving on Pembroke Road near Lacy Lane where her vehicle was reportedly rear-ended.
According to a report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, Guinnette Cox of Trenton was driving eastbound on Pembroke Road at around 40 to 45 MPH when she saw a vehicle approaching her through her rear-view mirror.
The vehicle behind Cox was operated by Deybi Murcia Menjivar of Hopkinsville and reportedly rear-ended Cox’s vehicle. Murcia Menjivar reportedly told officers he was distracted by Cox’s vehicle before he struck the vehicle’s rear.
