A toddler was burned in an incident on Pyle Lane Wednesday afternoon.
According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers, the two-year-old female child was accidentally burned by a candle that caught her clothes on fire at an apartment on Pyle Lane.
She sustained second-degree burns to her back and was taken by EMS to a waiting helicopter, and she was flown to Vanderbilt Pediatrics for treatment.
